In the area where we live, there are plenty of opportunities to take part in one or more exciting wine tastings. Not only will you get to sample some of the country’s finest wines, but you’ll also hear the fascinating stories behind the beautiful wine estates, many of which have been family-owned for generations. Many of the vineyards also house stud farms with the elegant and proud Lusitano horse – an experience in itself.
